Jacob (born C1773) was apparently widowed by the 1841 census and his daughter-in-law Mary Ann, nee Lester, who was married to Jacob’s son, Jacob (born 1793) was with her father-in-law on the night of the census.
1842 - Death

Jacob Ford (C1773) died on February 11, 1842 at his home in Bridge Street, Bilston.

The woman named Phebe Ford who was with him at his death was likely his daughter-in-law.  He did have a sister also called Phebe who was born in 1779, but I think is more probably his daughter-in-law was the informant.  His death certificate showed his occupation as Miner and he died of consumption. no doubt caused by years breathing in the coal dust.

1842 - Burial

Jacob was buried on 15th February 1842 at St.Leonard's Church in Bilston, Staffordshire.  He was 69 years old.

1866 - Death of Mary Ford, nee Smith
Mary, aged 64 years died on April 17 in 1866 at her home at Pipers Row, Wolverhampton.

She was buried at the Merridale Cemetery, Wolverhampton.
