1841 Census
At age 18 years, Samuel Manning was living at Langham with his parents, James and Elizabeth Manning and his siblings, Charles, aged 6 years, Fanny, aged 15 years, Charlotte aged 14 years and Ann aged 9 years.

1843 - Marriage to Sarah Harvey
June 30, 1843 at Langham, Suffolk.  Both full age, both unmarried previously, both from Langham.  Fathers were James Manning, labourer and William Morse.  One of the witnesses was Mary Warren. Neither bride nor groom were able to sign their names.


Sarah died, aged 40 years in August, 1865 and was buried at St. Mary's Church, Langham on August 9.



1868 - Marriage to Harriet Boggis
Samuel is a widower on October 16 in 1868 when he married single woman, Harriet Boggis in the Parish Church in Langham.  



Harriet died just a year after her marriage to Samuel in December, 1869 at Stow, Suffolk, at aged 34 years.  Cause of Death was "inflammation of the bowels".



1874 - Marriage to Sarah Cuthbert, nee Baker
Samuel married for the third time to Sarah Cuthbert, nee Baker, a widow.  



1912 - Death of Sarah Manning, nee Baker
Sarah died in 1912 at the age of 73 years.   She was buried at Ipswich, Suffolk, UK in the Old Municipal Section F of the Ipswich cemetery.
