WEDDING
Embroidered Cream Crepe – O’Shea – Edwards
The marriage of Marcelle, daughter of the late Mr. W.J. Edwards and of Mrs. Edwards, 97 Flinders Street, Thornbury, to Thomas, only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O’Shea of Yarraville, was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on November 25, 1943 at 5.30 pm.
The bride who was given away by her uncle, Sgt. Les. Warren (A.I.F. Returned) made a charming picture in a gown of cream crepe embroidered with silk floss and pearl.  She carried a bouquet of water lilies.  Her youngster sister, Olive, as bridesmaid, wore a pretty gown of harvest gold lace and carried a bouquet of pastel roses.
The bridegroom was supported by Mr. Sam Fleming as best man.
Later a breakfast and reception were held at the Victoria Coffee Palace, Melbourne.
Note that the reception, held at the Victoria Coffee Palace, Melbourne, was managed by Marcelle’s uncle, Vic Warren.
