1940 – Trouble with Police

Police and Children's Court
One juvenile was charged in the Bruce Rock Children's Court on October 23rd, and Edward James Warren in the Police Court with being on premises for an unlawful purpose.
Both defendants pleaded guilty and after the hearing of the evidence were released on bond on the same day

1942, January

In the Bruce Rock Police Court on Monday last, Henry Joseph Rankin and Edward James Warren pleaded guilty to riding motorcycles which emitted offensive noises.
They were each fined £1 with 3/- costs, and Rankin also pleaded guilty to riding an unlicensed cycle, for which he was further fined 15/- and ordered to pay the license fee.
