1931 - An Unusual Event

COOBOWIE - AN UNUSUAL EVENT.
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Tape, born in the Yorketown Hospital on March 22, 1931 is blessed with great great-grand-parents in the persons of Mr. and Mrs. George Plummer, of Coobowie, near Edith burgh.

Mr. Plummer will 83 on May 12, and Mrs. Plummer will be 80 on November 30.

The great grand parents are Mr and Mrs Albert Franke, who reside near Yorketown.

The grand-parents on the mother's side are Mr and Mrs E. Hoile, Coobowie, and on the fathers side Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Tape, of Coobowie.

Mr. E Hoile is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoile, senr , the great-grand-parents of another branch of the family. Mr. Hoile will be 83 on April 11, and Mrs Hoile was 80 on February 23. This elderly couple celebrated their Diamond Wedding on Thursday, March 26. They were married in 1871 (60 years ago) at South Molton, Devon, England, and came to Yorke Peninsula on February 14, 1883 nearly 50 years ago.
