WEDDING – GUMLEY – EDWARDS
At Scots Church, Collins Street, the marriage of Miss Olive May Edward to Mr. John William Gumley was celebrated by the Rev. M. McQueen.
The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Sgt. L. L. Warren, A.I.F. (returned), wore a frock of heavy white crepe sewn with silver beads and a Limerick lace veil surmounted with a coronet of orange blossom and azaleas were carried.
Her sister, Mrs. T.H. O’Shea, was matron-of-honour, and Miss Laurel Hunt was bridesmaid.  Both wore frocks of powder blue crepe with matching halo hats and carried pink cyclamen.  Mr. Edward Hucker was the best man and Mr. Kenneth Horton was groomsman.
