Emily Launder was born on August 16, 1867 in Collingwood, Victoria. She was baptised on December 21, 1867 in Geelong, Victoria
She was often referred to as 'Tot' by the family. She spent most of her adult life at home and assumed care of her mother until her mother died in 1907. Tot then stayed on at home as a house-keeper for her father until he died in 1917. Following the death of her father,
Tot then went to live with her sister-in-law in Victoria Street, West Melbourne where she helped in the management of Nell Launder's sweet shop.

1924 - Marriage
She married an 'old boyfriend', Jack Creese, in 1924 and she and Jack moved into a small cottage in Elizabeth Kensington.
Tot was a very kind person, often holding parties for her nephews and nieces. She had a cockatoo as a pet and she grieved when it died.
1941 - Death
Tot died in 1941 and was buried at Fawkner Cemetery. Her husband, Jack, died in 1947.
